People Data Analyst Excel - AMS Contingent : Job Details

We are looking for a People Data Analyst (Excel) for a 12 Months contract Derby (Hybrid - 1/2 weeks in the office) on behalf of our globally respected client who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs.

Purpose of the Role:

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented People Data Analyst with extended Excel experience to support our Client's People Analytics team by collating, processing, analysing and reporting People data. You will ensure data and report accuracy and provide actionable analysis and insights.

As a People Data Analyst (Excel) you will be responsible for:

• Collating, cleaning and validating People data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Analysing and reporting People/HR metrics.
• Developing and maintaining People/HR reports and dashboards.
• Ensuring data integrity by identifying discrepancies and implementing control checks.
• Presenting reporting, analysis and insights to People/HR leaders.
• Supporting compliance with data privacy regulations.

What we require from the candidate:

• Proven experience in data analysis/management information, preferably in People or HR function.
• Advanced Excel skills (e.g. complex formulas, pivot tables, models).
• Good PowerPoint skills.
• Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Understanding or People/HR metrics and processes.
• Power BI knowledge/experience (preferable).
