Director of People & Change - Utilities Transformation (FTC) London / Hybrid | Exec-Level Leadership Opportunity Are you a senior People & Change leader with a passion for driving large-scale transformation in complex, regulated environments? We're seeking a Director of People & Change to play a pivotal role in a major transformation programme within a leading UK utility business. You will have full accountability for shaping and delivering the people strategy, driving culture change and ensuring successful engagement with key stakeholders, including Trade Union partners. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and own the overarching People Transformation Strategy
- Lead the People & Change workstream across a complex, end-to-end transformation programme
- Drive initiatives across OD, workforce planning, leadership development, engagement & capability building
- Act as senior interface with Trade Unions, leading sensitive negotiations and ensuring effective communication of people change impacts
- Modernise ways of working and embed a high-performance, inclusive and agile culture
- Deliver long-term People Plan initiatives to support sustainability, critical skills and succession planning
About You:
- Proven experience leading complex people & change programmes in large, regulated organisations (utilities, energy, infrastructure, transport, etc.)
- Deep expertise in transformation leadership, culture change, modernisation and Trade Union engagement
- Strong track record integrating people workstreams into enterprise-wide change agendas
- Influential executive-level operator with excellent stakeholder management skills
- Chartered MCIPD and strong knowledge of UK employment law/industrial relations frameworks highly desirable
