We’re looking for a Office and People Coordinator to join our talented People team! You will be the heartbeat of our workplace, keeping day-to-day operations running seamlessly while helping to shape and reinforce a positive, inclusive, and engaging company culture. Through attention to detail in our HR processes, you’ll uphold the highest standards of efficiency and compliance — from onboarding and absence management to maintaining accurate employee records.

Equally, you’ll play a key role in demonstrating to employees that they are prioritised and well cared for. By proactively communicating policies, coordinating events, and ensuring processes run smoothly, you’ll help create an exceptional employee experience across every stage of the journey with us.

What You'll Do

Office & Facilities Management

· Oversee the smooth running of office operations and facilities, ensuring a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for all employees and visitors.

· Coordinate company travel arrangements, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

People Operations

· Deliver outstanding service to colleagues by monitoring and responding to queries via Wanstor’s People mailbox.

· Maintain a thorough knowledge of company policies and procedures, clearly communicating them to managers and employees to ensure queries are resolved promptly and policies are consistently applied.

· Manage the full employee lifecycle, including:

-Onboarding: Offers of employment, pre-employment screening, induction coordination.

-Offboarding: Leavers’ checklist, exit interviews, feedback surveys, and return of company property.

·Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HRIS and HR tools are kept up to date, used effectively, and adopted consistently across the business.

· Prepare and manage documentation for changes in employee terms and conditions.

· Oversee absence management processes, including monitoring holiday entitlement, tracking absence triggers, and conducting return-to-work interviews.

· Ensure all HR processes are efficient, compliant, and continuously improved.

Culture, Engagement & Events

· Foster a positive, inclusive, and values-led workplace culture through proactive engagement initiatives.

· Take ownership of the company’s social and volunteering calendar and events, planning and delivering activities that bring colleagues together and strengthen company culture.

· Support smooth transitions of people-related projects and initiatives into Business-as-Usual (BAU).

People Insights & Continuous Improvement

· Develop and maintain HR metrics and dashboards, reporting on key KPIs such as, absence, engagement, and utilisation of learning and benefits platforms.

· Analyse HR data to provide insights and recommendations that support strategic decision-making.

· Use employee feedback to identify themes and implement improvements to enhance the employee experience.

· Continuously review and optimise people processes, systems, and initiatives to support business needs

What You'll Need

You are someone who is energised by the idea of creating an exceptional employee experience and ensuring the workplace is a place people enjoy coming to every day. You’re organised, proactive, and detail-oriented, but also people-focused and approachable. You understand that office management and HR administration are more than processes — they’re opportunities to shape how employees feel about their work and the company.

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

  • Are passionate about building a positive, inclusive, and engaging workplace culture
  • Take pride in delivering excellent service to colleagues and ensuring they feel supported
  • Are highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities while keeping an eye on key details
  • Take initiative and are confident making decisions, while knowing when to seek input
  • Enjoy taking ownership of projects and seeing them through to completion
  • Feel comfortable analysing data and feedback, using insights to improve the employee journey
  • Communicate clearly and confidently, and can influence and collaborate across all levels of the business
  • Approach challenges with a solutions-focused mindset and look for ways to improve processes
