Description

• Provide expert advice and support to managers on HR policies and procedures.
• Handle employee relations cases, including investigations, grievances, and disciplinaries.
• Support the recruitment process, including drafting job descriptions and coordinating interviews.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes for employees.
• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with GDPR regulations.
• Deliver training sessions on HR-related topics to line managers and teams.
• Collaborate with the payroll team to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee data.
• Monitor and report on key HR metrics to support decision-making.

Profile

A successful People Advisor should have:

• Previous experience in a Human Resources advisory role, ideally within the transport and distribution industry.
• A strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in using HR systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• A CIPD qualification or equivalent (desirable but not essential).
