We are seeking a PE Teacher to join a dynamic team on a temporary basis to cover a period of sickness, with the potential for extension. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong background in both practical and theoretical aspects of physical education.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging PE lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
- Teach a balanced curriculum that combines both practical physical activities and theoretical knowledge.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to enhance student learning.
- Maintain discipline through effective classroom management strategies.
- Ensure the health and safety of all students during physical activities.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the interests and learning styles of students.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience in teaching PE, covering both practical and theory-based lessons.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire students.
