PE Specialist (x2) - Ballers Sports Coaching : Job Details

We are looking for 2 PE Specialists to join the Ballers Sports Coaching team, one in a full-time capacity and one in a part-time one. A Ballers PE Specialist is one of our most important roles in the business. Physical Education is one of the most vital subjects taught in primary schools. For a lot of children, it is the only time during the week that they will do physical exercise. The subject knowledge, enthusiasm and passion of our PE instructors are what makes sports with Ballers Sports Coaching truly exceptional.

We ensure that the core areas of the National Curriculum are covered, and that specific skills are taught in the various sports we offer. We also understand how to get children excited about a sport or activity, and advise them on how they can take it up outside of school and even carry it on into their adult life.

Ballers PPA:

• Schemes of work and lesson plans based on the National Curriculum.
• Support teachers to share lesson plans and ideas.
• Reports and assessments on classes.
• Based upon the Primary School Physical Literacy Framework.
• Creating participation pathways inclusive of all young people.
• We reinforce the importance of being physically active, as well as introducing basic leadership opportunities and social interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement engaging age-appropriate physical education curricula.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and adjusting instructions as necessary.
• Create a positive and inclusive environment that encourages student participation and enjoyment of physical activities.
• Coach school sports teams, preparing students for competitions.
• Assist with the procurement and maintenance of sports equipment and facilities.

Requirements:

• Clean enhanced DBS check
• Experience teaching PE from EYFS to KS2
• Good communicator with children and adults
• Own transport
• Impeccable time keeping
• Organised
• Be able to Lesson plan/ produce class reports and be adaptable (essential)
