Due to our clients continued growth and success, we are excited to invite an enthusiastic and skilled PDI Generator Engineer to join our clients dynamic team! What You'll Do:

As a key member of the team, you will undertake Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on our top-of-the-line JCB generators, ensuring they operate flawlessly before reaching our valued customers. Your role will include:

• Performing thorough PDI's on generating sets to ensure perfect operation.
• Conducting minor and major services on diesel engine generator sets.
• Engaging in control system wiring and programming Deepsea controllers to meet customer specifications.
• Participating in PLC/Deep Sea/Deif programming tasks.
• Assisting with loading and unloading sets, and supporting your colleagues.
• Attending relevant product training courses to enhance your skills.
• Being prepared to work outside regular hours when needed.

Core Hours:40 hours per week, 08:00 - 16:30 (half-hour unpaid lunch break)

What You Bring:

We're looking for someone with:

• Sound mechanical and electrical experience working with generators.
• Knowledge of JCB generators or diesel generators (desirable).
• In-depth understanding of Lithium Power packs and control systems.
• A collaborative spirit and a willingness to assist team members.
• A clean driving licence and a good driving record.
• Proof of your right to work in the UK.

Desirable Qualifications:

While not essential, candidates with the following qualifications will stand out:

• Mechanical Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• IEE regs - 18th Edition
