Description
- Process payroll for employees in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Processing timesheets
- Maintain accurate payroll records and resolve discrepancies as needed
- Producing, collating and distributing reports from the payroll system to various departments throughout the organisation
- Collaborate with the accounting and finance department to ensure timely payroll submissions.
- Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and management.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements.
- Assist with payroll audits and provide necessary documentation.
- Support the implementation of system or process improvements related to payroll.
- Maintain confidentiality of payroll and employee information at all times.
Profile
A successful payroll professional should have:
- Experience in payroll processing, ideally within the retail industry.
- A keen eye for detail and accuracy in handling payroll data.
- Knowledge of relevant payroll software and systems.
- Familiarity with payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
