We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Payroll & Finance Assistant to join a busy and dynamic organisation on a temporary basis. This role will be responsible for delivering an end-to-end payroll service, while also supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc duties.
Key Responsibilities:
* End-to-end payroll processing for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with HMRC.
* Managing starters, leavers, pensions, and statutory payments.
* Reconciling payroll accounts and producing payroll reports.
* Acting as the first point of contact for payroll queries.
* Supporting the finance team with reconciliations, payments, and other ad-hoc tasks.
* Assisting with month-end processes where required.
About You:
* Proven experience in end-to-end payroll (essential).
* Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation, pensions, and HMRC compliance.
* Confident user of Excel and payroll software packages.
* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
* Flexible and team-focused, with the ability to support broader finance tasks when required.
* Available to start at short notice.
Salary : 35000 - 42000
