Position: Payroll Systems AnalystHours: Full-timeLocation: DundeeDo you have extensive Payroll/HR experience? Are you looking for a position where you can apply your knowledge and analytical skills to a systems context? Then we have the opportunity for you!Our Dundee based client are currently recruiting a Payroll Systems Analyst to provide support to their People Systems Team. You will help define, develop and maintain processes and standards, embedding and improving them to achieve business outcomes.Responsibilities:

• Collaborating on Payroll/HR business process requirements and their delivery via the One University System
• Ensuring the Payroll/HR system elements and functionality are understood and priorities and focus areas are established and progressed
• Contributing ideas and suggestions to ensure regulatory compliance, a continuous improvement approach is taken, and a high standard of user experience is maintained
• Working closely with the Payroll Operational Team, coaching and providing guidance on payroll related processes and system critical/risk issues

Essential Requirements:

• Previous experience of working with cloud based HR and Payroll systems, including either implementation or improvement and troubleshooting 
• Problem solving ability to troubleshoot payroll related issues; establish system root cause, reconcile discrepancies and propose effective solutions
• Demonstrable analytical skills and a systematic approach to problem solving; ability to analyse complex data, identify trends and provide insights to optimize processes and ensure accuracy
• Strong working knowledge and understanding of payroll processing, legislation and best practice
• An ability to assimilate information from a variety of sources and succinctly summarise key priorities and deliverables
• Technical proficiency in data analysis tools such as excel and powerbi analytical skills and a pragmatic and systematic approach to problem solving

• Practical experience of end-to-end process mapping
