The Payroll & Pension Manager works as a member of the senior leadership team in the Business Service Centre which is responsible for delivering a range of transactional shared services. The Payroll & Pension Manager is responsible for providing operational and strategic leadership for the payroll service to the Council, a large number of schools and other public sector related customers in and around Gloucestershire.
The successful applicant will be responsible for line managing approx. 4 staff with indirect reports of over 30. The focus of the payroll service is on delivering a high quality and effective service that meets all statutory and regulatory requirements, with the customer always at the forefront and with an emphasis on continual improvement.CandidateCriteria
