Job Description :

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Officer to join a fast-paced and growing business in Alderley Edge (SK9). You'll be part of a friendly HR team, working closely with the Payroll Manager to deliver accurate and efficient payroll across a multi-brand group of around 1,000 employees.

The Role

  • End-to-end processing of monthly payrolls

  • Administer pensions, expenses, RTI submissions, and year-end activities

  • Ensure compliance with PAYE, NIC, and Auto-Enrolment legislation

  • Liaise with internal teams and external third parties to resolve queries and support audits

  • Support continuous improvement of payroll processes and systems

About You

  • Proven end-to-end payroll experience

  • Confident using Sage 50 (or similar payroll systems)

  • Skilled in RTI, year-end submissions, pensions, and reconciliations

  • Excellent attention to detail and strong time management skills

  • Able to thrive in a busy, fast-moving environment
