Your new company is an amazing company based in Chesterfield, who are seeking the support of a temporary payroll officer for a couple of months. The role will mainly be a 'hands-on' approach to the day-to-day payroll data input and deductions.

Your new role

As Payroll Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for the company's UK-based employees. Your responsibilities will include:Processing end-to-end payroll on a weekly and monthly basisEnsuring compliance with HMRC regulations and statutory requirementsManaging payroll queries and providing support to employeesMaintaining accurate payroll records and reportsCollaborating with HR and Finance teams to ensure data accuracySupporting year-end processes including P60s, P11Ds, and reconciliationsWhat you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience in a payroll processing role
• Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and statutory requirements
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel
• A proactive and professional approach to problem-solving
