Payroll Officer - Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited : Job Details

Your new companyYou will be working for a national company based in Southampton who are looking to bring in a Senior Payroll Officer on a 12-Month Fixed Term Contract, to cover maternity leave. You will be working within the finance team and providing full payroll management of circa 1000 employees.Your new role

• End-to-end management of circa 1,000 employee monthly payroll
• Administration of pensioner payroll
• Full Payroll reconciliation
• Data and Payroll analysis
• RTI Submissions
• Pension processing
• Processing starters/leavers, SSP/SMP/SPP
• Processing P45/P46/P11D/P60's
• Dealing with HMRC
• BACS Payment Processing
• Ensure full compliance with HMRC, government and legal requirements

What you'll need to succeed

• Full Right-to-Work in the UK with prior experience working within a UK payroll function
• Experience managing a large payroll of circa 1000 employees
• Management Experience
• Knowledge of Payroll systems
• Advanced Excel Skills
• Highly numerate with strong data accuracy and data analytics skills
