- Location: Leatherhead- parking provided near to the office- close to Leatherhead train station
- Full-Time - Permanent
- Salary: £50,000- £55,000
- Working pattern: 37.5 hours per week- Hybrid working available but ideally office based.

Are you a seasoned payroll professional with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for process improvement? This is a fantastic opportunity to lead payroll operations for a well-established organisation, managing payroll for over 1,000 employees and playing a key role in shaping future strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead payroll projects, including policy reviews (e.g. sick pay, overtime, benefits).
- Maintain and improve payroll processes, manuals, and system functionality.
- Ensure compliance with National Minimum Wage legislation.
- Manage timesheet follow-ups and approval workflows.
- Handle payroll queries and escalate complex issues appropriately.
- Build strong relationships across departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Authorise and transmit BACS payments within deadlines.
- Support the HR Operations Leader in delivering the People & Culture strategy.
- Oversee year-end payroll processing and statutory reporting.
- Prepare month-end payroll journals and accruals for Finance.
- Validate statutory payment and deduction reports.
- Manage pension auto-enrolment and contribution submissions.
- Generate and distribute online payslips.
