Our client are a very impressive business, offering a rare and unique opportunity for a Payroll and Benefits Manager to join them. You will have full responsibility of running the payroll process for both UK and ROW entities working with outsourced providers, as well as exposure to system management and exciting new and existing projects across the HR function.
Description
The key responsibilities of the Payroll and Benefits Manager include:
- Manage and coordinate payroll activities for the company for UK and smaller overseas entities
- Administer benefits programs, ensuring compliance and employee satisfaction
- Lead, mentor, and develop an existing overseas based team member
- Conduct payroll and benefits audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Handle tax-related matters and liaise with tax authorities
- Working in partnership with overseas HRBP's and other members of the team to ensure accuracy
- Prepare payroll and benefits reports for management
- Report to management and parent company on overheads, starters and leavers
- Manage relationships with payroll vendors
- Stay abreast of payroll laws and regulations
Profile
A successful Payroll and Benefits Manager should have:
- Proven experience in payroll management and ideally benefits administration
- Strong leadership skills
- Some understanding of overseas payroll laws and legislation
- Excellent knowledge of payroll tax laws and regulations
- Proficiency in payroll software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Positive attitude to work within a growing and varied role
