Our client is looking for a for a switched-on Payroll Analyst to join them on a long term temporary basis. There is real potential for this role to progress into a permanent position.
- £18.70-£21.37 per hour
- Monday to Friday
- Hybrid working - 2/3 days office based

Payroll Analyst- Job Overview
As Payroll Analyst your duties will include;
- Processing monthly payroll from start to finish for 150+ employees
- Providing data analysis and payroll variances
- Calculating mid month adjusments
- Manipulating Excel spreadsheets
- Uploading pension files
- Accountable for controlling, accounting for and reconciling:
- Statutory and occupational sick pay
- Tax and National Insurance
- Statutory and Occupational Maternity Pay
- All deductions from pay e.g. court orders, union payments etc
- To provide timely & accurate payments to all staff to ensure that employees are paid in accordance with the pay policy, terms and conditions of service.
- Key responsibility for the integrity of the payroll system and responsible for liaising with Human Resources in terms of data imported from HR system modules.
Payroll Analyst - Skills & Experience Required
- 2+ years of working within a Payroll environment
- Confident using HRIS
- Experience using CERIDIAN and DAYFORCE would be advantageous
- Vlookups experience is essential
- Experience in using payroll software
- Strong numeracy skills
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Team player and ability to multitask
