Job Title: Payroll Administrator
Location: Office-based, with opportunities in the East Midlands and South West
Salary: Up to £30,000 (depending on experience)

About the Role
We are looking for a Payroll Administrator to join a growing and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a varied client portfolio, providing accurate and timely payroll services while ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation.

Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end payroll processing for multiple clients
- Collecting, verifying, and inputting pay data
- Calculating salaries, overtime, bonuses, commissions, and statutory payments
- Ensuring accurate PAYE, NI, pension, and statutory deductions
- Processing BACS payments and distributing payslips/reports
- Managing starters, leavers, and employee changes
- Preparing and submitting RTI returns and other statutory filings
- Generating payroll journals and reports for clients
- Responding to client payroll queries
- Liaising with pension providers and managing auto-enrolment
- Supporting year-end processes including P60s and P11Ds
About You
- Previous payroll administration experience (ideally in a bureau or accountancy setting)
- Proficient in payroll software (BrightPay, Xero, Sage preferred)
- Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and statutory requirements
- Excellent accuracy, attention to detail, and numerical skills
- Strong organisational and time-management ability
- Effective communicator with a client-focused approach
- Able to work independently and within a team
- Experience with pensions and auto-enrolment processes
