We are seeking a Payroll Administrator to join our client's dedicated team in Ipswich. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, detail-oriented, and has experience in payroll. As a Payroll Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our payroll operations are conducted efficiently and in compliance with UK regulations.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Process weekly and monthly payroll for employees, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
  • Maintain comprehensive payroll records and ensure compliance with HMRC regulations.
  • Handle queries related to payslips, tax codes, and deductions effectively.
  • Liaise with HR and finance departments to ensure smooth payroll operations.
  • Assist with year-end procedures, including the preparation of P60s and P11Ds.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a payroll role, with a minimum of 1 year preferred.
  • Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
  • Proficiency in payroll software such as Sage, Xero, or similar.
  • Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
