Job Description :

WeResource are recruiting for a leading Independent Creative Company based in the heart of busy Farringdon. We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Payroll & Administration Officer to manage payroll processes, HR compliance, staff benefits, and general office administration. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth payroll operations, accurate reporting, and efficient office management.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll Management

  • Process payroll accurately and on schedule.
  • Maintain compliance with current policies and legislation.
  • Issue payslips and ensure correct application of tax codes.
  • Prepare and submit P11D and P60 forms.
  • Keep HR and payroll policies up to date.
  • Respond to staff payroll queries promptly.

Freelance Administration

  • Manage freelance contracts and maintain live run rates.
  • Implement and maintain freelance policies.
  • Process freelance payments and reconcile accounts.
  • Allocate freelance costs and track freelance ratio to revenue.

HR & Compliance

  • Maintain up-to-date HR records and policies.
  • Provide regular HR information and reporting as required.
  • Administer sponsorship schemes for staff.

Benefits Administration

  • Enrol employees in pension schemes and issue pension statements.
  • Manage healthcare enrolments and Death in Service (DIS) insurance.
  • Oversee Cycle to Work Scheme and other staff benefits.

General Administration

  • Provide reporting support for management.
  • Assist with VAT returns and year-end reporting.
  • Coordinate insurance renewals.
  • Manage office supplies including weekly shopping, canteen, drinks, and stationery.
  • Handle general staff administrative requests.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience in payroll and HR administration.
  • Strong understanding of tax codes, P11D, P60, and payroll legislation.
  • Knowledge of benefits administration, including pensions and healthcare schemes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and payroll software.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
