Role Overview
This opportunity is to join a dynamic cloud-based payroll calculation engine that continuously recalculates payroll, delivering updated results instantly in response to changes. Featuring SOC1 compliance controls and a comprehensive dashboard, the solution eliminates high-pressure processing, minimizes downtime, and maximizes data input time. Built-in defensive queries and anomaly detection proactively identify potential payroll infringements, ensuring increased payroll accuracy. Designed with the needs of today and the reality of tomorrow in mind, this innovative payroll engine is set to be available in numerous countries worldwide by the end of the year, with further expansion planned for 2025. It aims to disrupt payroll as we know it today.
Key Responsibilities
Lead client-facing functional discussions during project kick-off and requirements gathering
Work with clients to capture payroll configuration information necessary to finalize workbooks
Identify deviations from product and process standards
Collaborate closely with the Product team to complete payroll solution configuration
Validate payroll solution and integrations during project testing cycles
Perform data validations within the payroll system
Coordinate defect resolution with relevant teams
Transfer knowledge to ongoing application services for payroll solution maintenance
Provide input to and update the project plan
Support data mapping, validations, and issue resolution across systems
Support integration issue resolution
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and parallel testing
Define and manage workarounds and resolutions as needed
Support and oversee knowledge transfer to Delivery and Operational Payroll teams
Requirements
Experience in a functional consulting or analytical role within payroll outsourcing or payroll software environments
Strong knowledge of Peru's payroll and compliance requirements (e.g., tax, legislation)
Experience managing the payroll implementation project lifecycle
Strong client-facing communication skills
Ability to clearly articulate and document client requirements
This role is open to candidates based in South America, with a strong focus on those who have local payroll compliance knowledge within Peru.
