We are seeking a talented Intellectual Property lawyer with 2-7 years PQE to join the esteemed Intellectual Property team at our remarkable client's London office.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise and a keen interest in patent litigation, including oppositions before the European Patent Office. While a first degree in a scientific or technical discipline would be advantageous, it is not mandatory.
The Team
- The IP team is renowned as one of the largest and most respected in the UK, advising a diverse clientele ranging from life sciences to technology, manufacturing, and retail sectors.
- With approximately 50+ Lawyers solely in the UK Intellectual Property practice and an extensive European team, the team collaborate seamlessly across key IP markets.
- They handle precedent-setting actions before the highest courts in both hard and soft IP domains.
Responsibilities:
- Handling the sale and purchase of agricultural and rural residential properties.
- Addressing landlord and tenant matters across agricultural, commercial, and residential sectors.
- Managing complex transactions including mineral leases, solar farm leases, and development agreements.
- Representing banks in securing financial assets.
- Collaborating with a diverse range of clients to provide strategic legal advice and optimize returns on investment.
Candidate Profile:
- Have significant experience in handling patent applications in biotechnological and pharmaceutical fields.
- Be proficient in opinion and/or contentious work.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills to foster relationships with clients and colleagues.
