Job Opportunity: Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL)Location: BracknellContract: Term Time + 2 WeeksSalary: Grade H, Spine Point 26 – 30 £38,009 - £41,506 full time equivalent (£34,951.03 - £38,166.68 actual)Note: Pay scale will increase by 3.2%

This excellent school are seeking an experienced and confident Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) to take the lead in safeguarding and child protection across the school. This is a vital leadership role, and they are looking for someone with extensive DSL experience, rather than a Deputy DSL stepping into their first lead role.

• Have a strong track record as a Designated Safeguarding Lead
• Be confident managing complex safeguarding cases and working with external agencies
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of safeguarding legislation and best practice
• Be an excellent communicator and team leader
• Be proactive, resilient, and committed to the wellbeing of all students

• Lead and manage all aspects of safeguarding and child protection
• Act as the main point of contact for safeguarding concerns
• Provide training, support, and guidance to staff
• Ensure compliance with statutory responsibilities and school policies
