Join our dedicated team in the Children, Young People and Families Department in Doncaster. We are seeking a Partnership Quality Assurance and Intelligence Manager to ensure that services working with children and adults maintain high standards of safety and effectiveness. This role involves collaborating with various organisations to enhance safeguarding practices across the board.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Quality Checks: Develop and implement systems to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safeguarding services.
  • Support Inspections: Coordinate and prepare for external inspections, ensuring compliance with standards set by bodies like Ofsted or CQC.
  • Audits: Lead audits to assess the collaboration between different organisations, reporting outcomes and suggesting improvements.
  • Training: Design and conduct training sessions for staff across various organisations to enhance their understanding and implementation of safeguarding protocols.
  • Data Monitoring: Oversee data collection systems to track performance and quality metrics effectively.
  • Partnership Working: Engage with children, families, and partner organisations to integrate their feedback into service improvement strategies.
  • Strategic Advice: Provide insights to senior leaders on trends and changes in health and social care sectors, advising on strategic responses.
  • Service Excellence: Drive initiatives to elevate the reputation and effectiveness of Doncaster’s safeguarding services.
  • Support Leadership: Aid managers and chairs of safeguarding boards in maintaining a focus on quality and excellence in all operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Essential:
    • Level 4 qualification or equivalent (e.g., teacher, social worker, nurse, police officer).
    • Proven experience in data collection, report writing, and project management.
    • Familiarity with inspection standards from bodies like Ofsted.
    • Strong understanding of safeguarding policies, social care issues, and national frameworks.
  • Desirable:
    • Advanced experience in project management and partnership coordination.
