My client, a leading representative organisation for the UK construction industry are currently looking for a confident and friendly PA to join their team on part time basis. This is a part-time permanent role where candidates will be expected to work 21 hours per week which equates to a part-time salary of £21,600.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of their office and providing support to their Chief Executive and Deputy Chief Executive The ideal candidate will be proactive, with a professional approach and excellent people skills. Does this sound like you? Day-to-day of the role:

  • Manage diaries, coordinate daily agendas, prioritise urgent items, and organise meetings and appointments for the Chief Executive and Deputy Chief Executive.
  • Act as the first point of contact for enquiries, handling emails and phone calls, responding or directing messages, and highlighting them for attention.
  • Source and book venues for meetings and manage travel arrangements and accommodation.
  • Collate and file expenses and assist with the preparation of Board meetings, including support with agendas, papers, and minute-taking.
  • Type, compile, and prepare research, presentations, and correspondence as required.
  • Develop and maintain a network of key contacts within member companies.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Management Team to ensure the smooth running of the organisation.
  • Implement and maintain procedures and systems, including data management and filing.
  • Arrange social events for the team and undertake other tasks as reasonably requested.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Personal Assistant or similar administrative role.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and experience with diary management.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise work effectively.
  • Discretion and confidentiality are paramount.
  • Experience in minute-taking and preparing executive documents.
