About the SchoolThis inclusive and supportive alternative provision caters to primary-aged pupils who have been excluded or are at risk of exclusion from mainstream education. Many pupils have SEMH, ADHD, autism, or other additional needs. The school provides a structured, nurturing environment where pupils are supported to re-engage with learning and develop positive relationships.The school follows a trauma-informed, child-centred approach and is guided by a strong ethos of Support, Trust, Achieve, Respect (STAR).???�? Primary Teacher Responsibilities

• Teach a small class of primary pupils with SEMH and additional needs
• Deliver a flexible, creative curriculum tailored to individual EHCPs
• Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and pastoral staff
• Promote emotional regulation, resilience, and positive behaviour
• Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and families

? Ideal Candidate

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching in primary education, ideally in a PRU, SEMH school, or SEND setting
• Confident in managing behaviour and using de-escalation strategies
• Patient, empathetic, and committed to inclusive education
• Able to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
