As our firm continues to grow, we’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Semi Senior Accountant to join us.

In this role, you’ll support a varied portfolio of clients with their accounting needs—from daily bookkeeping to year-end accounts. You’ll work independently, liaise directly with clients, and assist senior team members across key service areas including accounts, tax, and compliance.

• Preparation of year-end statutory accounts for limited companies

• Double-entry bookkeeping and client ledger maintenance

• Preparation and submission of VAT returns in line with HMRC regulations

• Processing payroll for multiple clients and ensuring timely submissions

• Assisting in the preparation of corporate tax computations

• Supporting the production of management accounts

• Handling client queries and advising on deadlines and compliance matters

• Communicating with HMRC and other relevant authorities as required

• ACCA part-qualified, finalist, or AAT qualified

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a UK accountancy practice

• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, VAT, payroll, and year-end procedures

• Confident in preparing basic corporate tax computations

• Proficiency with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or similar

• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
