I am working with a National Financial Planning firm who are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join their team around the St Albans area.
Experienced & Reliable:
- Seeking a career Paraplanner who has worked in Financial Services and been in their current Paraplanner role for a minimum of 4 years. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated loyalty and consistency, and who brings a dependable approach to their work.
Dynamic & Flexible:
- This is a high-volume, fast-paced role. The ideal candidate will be proactive, adaptable, and able to manage changing priorities with ease. A teamwork approach and "roll up your sleeves" attitude is essential.
Initiative & Problem Solving:
- We need someone who thinks for themselves – able to work independently, ask the right questions, and take ownership of their workload without needing constant direction. A solutions-focused mindset is key.
Team Player:
- Collaboration is at the heart of our business. The successful candidate must work well with others, supporting their colleagues and contributing to the wider team success.
Financial Planning Enthusiast:
- A genuine interest in financial planning is a must. The role involves in-depth research, cashflow modelling, and agenda preparation, so a detail-oriented and analytical mindset is essential.
Flexible Approach to Client Work:
- While the role is not client-facing by default, there is flexibility for the right person to be involved in client meetings if desired.
Quality-Driven:
- We’re looking for someone who cares about the standard of their work, not someone who just does the job. Attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality output is critical.
Open-Minded & Thoughtful:
- This is not a role for someone who sees things only in black and white. We value a pragmatic and thoughtful approach to paraplanning, balancing precision with flexibility.
