Job Description :

We’re hiring a paraplanner for a highly respected, Chartered, independent financial planning firm based just outside Leeds city centre. With a strong track record of acquiring and integrating firms across the country, this business is in an exciting phase of growth and now needs an experienced paraplanner to join the Leeds office as a key part of their planning pod structure.

The Role

You’ll work closely with one or two financial planners and a dedicated administrator as part of a high-functioning pod. Your role is central to the advice process, with responsibility for:

  • Writing suitability reports across pensions, investments, IHT, tax planning, and protection

  • Supporting planners with technical research, cashflow modelling, and fund analysis

  • Helping shape advice recommendations through collaboration at client strategy meetings

  • Ensuring compliance with Consumer Duty and keeping advice outcomes front and centre

  • Assisting in the integration of acquired client banks and onboarding new business

  • Supporting client handovers as senior planners slim down their books

  • Maintaining strong technical standards and contributing to internal case discussions

You’ll be proactive, commercially aware, and able to drive case progression forward without being micromanaged.

What They’re Offering
  • Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 DOE

  • Bonus: Discretionary 10% (paid annually)

What They’re Looking For
  • Diploma-qualified paraplanner (Level 4) as a minimum, working toward Chartered preferred

  • Comfortable managing one full case per day on average

  • Technical confidence across pensions, investments, IHT, and protection

  • Clear written communication and report writing skills

  • Someone interested in progressing to adviser levelora high-level career paraplanner
