Your Role and Impact
As a Paraplanner, you’ll play a vital role in supporting financial advisers by:
- Delivering high-quality technical support to ensure clients receive maximum value
- Drafting clear, client-focused communications and bespoke financial plans
- Gathering and analysing both qualitative and quantitative data using advanced tools to produce compliant, tailored financial strategies
- Contributing to the enhancement of centralised, cost-effective propositions and participating in engaging project work
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with advisers to understand client goals and objectives
- Analyse client documentation including fact finds and meeting notes
- Source accurate data to support financial projections
- Create detailed financial plans in line with company standards
- Use financial software to generate precise projections
- Prepare thoroughly for client meetings, ensuring advice is aligned with their needs
- Support advisers during client presentations and respond to technical queries
- Produce polished reports following planning meetings
- Liaise with product providers and third parties
- Stay informed on regulatory updates and market trends
What You’ll Bring
- Previous experience in a paraplanning role
- Level 4 Diploma qualified (or working towards it)
- Ideally familiar with tools such as Cashflow Modelling Software, Intelligent Office, FE Analytics, Selectapension, Dynamic Planner, and various provider platforms
