Join a forward-thinking and rapidly expanding wealth management business committed to delivering top-quality financial advice. We are currently seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join our team due to our ongoing expansion.
Day-to-Day of the Role:
- Provide high-quality support to Financial Planners by producing detailed documents that offer clear and effective advice based on thorough market research and the client’s financial goals.
- Assist Financial Planners in formulating advice, offering technical support and guidance as needed.
- Conduct detailed research and analysis of investment funds and financial products, aligning with client objectives.
- Prepare comprehensive financial plans that outline the client’s current position, future goals, and the strategies to achieve these goals.
- Manage the preparation of fund switch and encashment letters in line with the advice provided.
- Handle applications, key features documents, factsheets, illustrations, and product comparison quotes, ensuring all research supports the advice given.
- Liaise with Product Providers and Third Parties to resolve any technical queries.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Paraplanner within financial services.
- Fully Diploma qualified with a solid understanding of the Financial Planning process.
- Strong research and report writing skills, with extensive experience using Microsoft Office products.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills, committed to achieving the best outcomes for both clients and the business.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail is crucial in balancing the demands of the role.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with IO back-office software and FE Analytics research tool.
- Familiarity with working in a small to medium-sized financial services environment and during periods of significant change.
- Experience with a Discretionary Fund Manager.
- Knowledge of cashflow modelling and a broad understanding of the Financial Services Industry.
