Are you an experienced Industrial Control Panel Wirer, BS7671 18th edition qualified and looking for a new permanent position?

GMP Recruitment are proud to be partnered with a successful and growing industrial equipment supplier, located in Worcester. We are supporting their recruitment for a panel wirer to join their team on a full time, permanent contract, working Monday - Friday 08:00am - 17:00pm. This position can offer a salary of £30K which can be negotiated for very experienced candidates.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the precise installation of electrical wiring and associated materials to schematic and engineering drawings.

Panel Wirer main duties:

• Perform panel layout, assemble components into panel.
• Wiring panels.
• Read, interpret and work from schematic / engineering drawings / instructions from engineers
• Mark-up / amend engineering drawings.
• Maintain safe working practices (clean and organised work environment adhering to
• Health and Safety regulations)
• Problem Solving & Fault Finding
• Site based installations and Panel modifications
• Monitoring and reporting on stock levels/raising any issues
• Undertaking all relevant tasks along with general housekeeping duties.
• Occasional site visits for trouble shooting repairs or installation.
• Machine wiring experience advantageous

Required skills and experience:

• Previous experience building & wiring panels essential.
• Good numeracy and literacy.
• BS7671 18th edition desirable.
• Full UK Driving licence

An immediate start can be available for the successful candidate.
