Painter & Decorator - Social HousingWelwyn & Hatfield areaUp to £35,000 + van & fuel cardFull-time, permanent

We're currently looking for an experienced painter & decorator to join a well-established team, carrying out planned and responsive maintenance across social housing properties in the Welwyn and Hatfield area.

This role involves working in both occupied and void homes, with responsibilities including glossing, emulsion, wallpapering, and treating damp and mould. A high standard of preparation and finish is essential, as is the ability to work efficiently while maintaining a tidy and professional approach in customers' homes.

Excellent customer service is a key part of this role, so we're looking for someone who takes pride in their work and communicates well with tenants and colleagues.

The ideal candidate will have:

• City & Guilds Level 2 in Painting & Decorating (or equivalent)

• Full UK driving licence (a van and fuel card will be provided)

• Experience in social housing or a similar environment

• Additional skills in plastering or tiling would be a bonus

Salary & package:

• Up to £35,000 per year
