?? Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Paint Polisher to join our team at Sanko Gosei UK LTD STC. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting and polishing painted components to meet customer-verified specifications, ensuring the highest standards of quality and finish.
?? Working Hours & Pay Rates
- 06:00 - 14:00: £13.25 per hour
- 14:00 - 22:00: £13.75 per hour
- 22:00 - 06:00: £14.25 per hour
? Key Objectives
Perform inspection and polishing activities to meet customer quality standards.Support the Technical Manager with various tasks across the paint facility, including jigging, loading, prepping, cleaning, spraying, mixing, packing, labelling, and general housekeeping. ?? Duties & Responsibilities
- Polish and inspect components in line with IATF 16949 quality standards.
- Verify identification and quality of finished goods to ensure Right First Time (RFT).
- Identify, contain, and document rejected products.
- Inspect internally painted products to customer specifications.
- Ensure correct packaging and labelling of finished goods.
- Maintain high standards of 5S housekeeping throughout the facility.
- Adhere to all Health & Safety policies.
- Provide cover for other associates when required.
- Collaborate proactively with team members.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
- Assist with any additional tasks as directed by the Technical Manager.
?? Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a paint manufacturing or similar environment.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- Willingness to undertake relevant training.
- Valid UK driving licence required.
