The RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Paediatric Speech & Language Therapist to join a specialist educational setting supporting young people aged 11-18 with autism and SpLD. The successful candidate will work as part of a collaborative and dynamic multi-disciplinary team, delivering high-impact therapy in a nurturing school environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver individual and group therapy sessions tailored to student needs
Work closely with teaching staff, families, and external professionals to support student communication goals
Contribute to multi-disciplinary reviews and EHCPs
Carry out assessments and produce high-quality, evidence-based reports
Support and advise school staff in implementing communication strategies
Play an active role in whole-school communication initiatives
Recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy
HCPC registration and RCSLT membership
Experience working with children or young people with autism and/or specific learning difficulties
Excellent communication and teamworking skills
Passionate about inclusive education and improving outcomes for students with SEN
