Location: Central LondonSalary: £36,000 - £46,000 per annum, depending on experienceContract: Full-time, PermanentBanding: Equivalent to Band 6Setting: Specialist school (ages 11-18)Needs: Autism, Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Paediatric Speech & Language Therapist to join a specialist educational setting supporting young people aged 11-18 with autism and SpLD. The successful candidate will work as part of a collaborative and dynamic multi-disciplinary team, delivering high-impact therapy in a nurturing school environment.

• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions tailored to student needs

• Work closely with teaching staff, families, and external professionals to support student communication goals

• Contribute to multi-disciplinary reviews and EHCPs

• Carry out assessments and produce high-quality, evidence-based reports

• Support and advise school staff in implementing communication strategies

• Play an active role in whole-school communication initiatives

• Recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy

• HCPC registration and RCSLT membership

• Experience working with children or young people with autism and/or specific learning difficulties

• Excellent communication and teamworking skills

• Passionate about inclusive education and improving outcomes for students with SEN
