Packing Operative - Time Recruitment : Job Details

Due to continued demand, our client situated in Milnrow require a number of despatch operatives to support their e-commerce business through into 2025.

The role will include the following:

- Collating customer orders

- Checking orders prior to despatch

- Using a PC to log despatch and create a delivery label.

- Making up protective packaging to safeguard customer orders.

- Palletise stock ready for despatch.

Please note that you will be working on a bench and will have daily/weekly targets to achieve.

It is a fast-moving environment, and you will be expected to work by yourself or part of a team.

A good level of numeracy and literacy are required.

Hours of work: 8am-4pm Monday to Friday with 30 minutes unpaid lunch break and 2 x 10 minutes paid breaks in the morning and afternoon. A paid day is 7 hours 30 minutes.

Please be aware these hours are subject to change around Black Friday and closer to Christmas.

Safety boots and a hi-vis vest are essential for this position.
