An exciting opportunity has opened up for an experienced and highly organised PA to join a successful financial planning business in the Brighton Area. This is a unique position that combines PA responsibilities with paraplanning support, directly assisting four Directors who lead a growing adviser team.
The ideal candidate will bring at least four years of experience working within a similar environment, with hands-on paraplanning knowledge including templated suitability reports, generating illustrations, and submitting basic levels of business. A solid understanding of FCA regulations, Salesforce, and I Business is essential. You do not need to be diploma qualified, but a strong grasp of financial planning processes and systems is key.
You’ll act as the first point of contact for the Directors, managing their diaries, inbox, and prioritising workload. The role will involve preparing documentation, coordinating business submissions, and ensuring client records are kept accurate and compliant. You’ll also liaise with clients and third parties, manage the internal business pipeline, and support meeting preparation, correspondence, and travel logistics.
This is a busy and varied role that requires excellent organisational skills, professionalism, and discretion. The ability to work independently, multitask, and manage a fast-paced environment is key.
There is clear progression potential within the business. For the right candidate, there is an opportunity to move into a trainee adviser role after two years, should that be the preferred career direction.
