Job title: Property & Casualty Underwriter

Salary:  to £40,000  - Enhanced benefits package available

Location: Hybrid role based in the Glasgow office - 2/3 days per week

Partnering with a top-tier insurance company, we're seeking an experienced underwriting candidate for an exciting opportunity-could it be you?

We are looking for an experienced Property & Casualty Underwriter to join our clients' dynamic team in Glasgow. In this key role, you will support their growth objectives and uphold technical excellence, contributing to the delivery of exceptional service within the mid-market.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Provide exceptional service to customers
• Handle existing P & C risks within mid-market
• Build and maintain strong broker relationships
• Engage with brokers and clients in face-to-face interactions
• Meet financial and operational performance targets
• Collaborate with other departments to achieve service delivery goals

QUALIFICATIONS 

• Experience underwriting both Property and Casualty commercial insurance
• Proven ability to establish and maintain positive broker relationships
• CII qualifications or a commitment to achieving them

EXPERIENCE 

• Collaborative team player with a positive, proactive attitude
• Adaptable and eager to thrive in an evolving environment
