Responsibilities include:
Oversight
Maintain daily over-sight of the Service Provider and ensure deliverables are met in-line with the agreed SLA
Manage simple and complex queries from both internal and external stakeholders
Operational Support
Support new account/product onboarding activity within existing processes and ensure new processes
Review work of Middle Office team to support investment operation workflows including
Change Management/Process Improvement
Participate in projects, system and testing initiatives, and coordinate associated data clean-up efforts.
Create and update policies and procedures on a regular basis; ensure they accurately reflect compliance regulations and system enhancements. Document workflow and systems changes.
Provide training to team members as appropriate on new business processes.
Continually build technical skills and industry knowledge.
People Management
Act as the main escalation point for the Middle Office team including core Middle Office functions as well as Derivatives and Market Opening
Responsible for the Middle Office team associates including management of day to day operations, team meetings and regular 1-2-1s
Drive results and accountability within the EMEA Middle Office team and responsible for continued oversight of Service Provider
At least 5 years relevant operational, product and global markets knowledge within Investment Management
Strong expertise to include Middle Office, Trade Support and/or new market
Ability to work effectively and make sound decisions in a high-pressure environment with strict deadlines
