Meraki Talent are delighted to be working with one of world’s largest names within the Accountancy & Finance market, to assist with the onboarding of a new Business Outsourcing Senior Manager.The CompanyThe firm are easily one of the most recognisable names with a formidable reputation for prestige and quality. The business operates in more than 150 countries and provides Tax, Audit & Assurance, Advisory and Business Outsourcing Services to companies across all sectors of the economy.  LocationThis position is a Jersey based role but open to applications from individuals across the world as they are willing to sponsor work permits.ExperienceThe role would be well suited to a current established Outsourcing Manager/ Senior Manager but also open to individuals working within Business Advisory Services and Audit that wish to move into a more diverse role.Relevant Financial Services or Real Estate industry experience ideally gained in a large practice environment is essential if coming from Audit.Working knowledge of financial products, firm services, regulation, and compliance, including anti-money laundering.Project Management experience.ACA/ACCA or equivalent qualification.Knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP, Financial Reporting requirements.The ability to navigate, influence and manage sensitive situations.Excellent organisation skills, ability to multi-task, work on several engagements simultaneously. The role     
  • Responsible for the financial management of a portfolio of clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients at senior levels, point of contact throughout the year whilst developing a strong commercial understanding of the clients’ businesses.
  • Complete assignments in line with agreed budgets and timescales whilst identifying opportunities for new business development.
  • Ensure assignments are staffed appropriately to the correct level of knowledge and skills required.
  • Oversee a team of Managers, Assistant Managers, Associates etc.
  • Ensure engagements are executed in accordance with methodology and guidance, professional standards, and local legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure the technical correctness and presentational standard of all client deliverables.
  • Ensure that the firm’s risk management and quality control procedures are always adhered to.
  • Responsible for the management of processes such as timesheets, billing, debtors, and resourcing.
  • Support the Directors & Partners to ensure that client relationships are mainatned and consult with clients to comply with Limited financial crime policies & procedures including:
    • the accuracy and quality of customer due diligence measures
    • the accuracy and quality of enhanced customer due diligence measures on a risk-based approach
    • the accuracy of information resulting in an appropriate financial risk rating
    • the completion of periodic reviews in a timely manner (the frequency of which, is based on risk)
  • Review & comply with financial crime policies & procedures such as:
    • Financial Crime Business Risk Assessment
    • Financial Crime Strategy
    • Financial Crime Risk Appetite
    • Financial Crime Policies, specifically that no opinions, reports, returns or other such client deliverables may be issued in draft or final form to any client or other relevant party unless all customer due diligence is up to date and appropriately approved in accordance with procedures
