About the Role:

Are you passionate about using the outdoors as a classroom? We are seeking an inspiring and resilient individual to join our team in Burnley, Lancashire, as an Outdoor Education Teacher. This is a unique opportunity to work with young people in a practical, hands-on environment, helping them build confidence, resilience, and valuable life skills.

This role does not require Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). We welcome applications from experienced outdoor professionals, youth workers, or anyone with a passion for outdoor learning and a strong background in leading activities with young people.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and safe outdoor education sessions, including bushcraft, team building, and nature-based activities.

• Develop a curriculum that uses the local Burnley area (parks, woodlands, trails) to support student development.

• Work collaboratively with staff to create a supportive and inclusive environment.

• Ensure all activities adhere to strict health and safety and safeguarding protocols.
