As an Organisational Development Officer, you will design, deliver, and evaluate innovative OD and wellbeing initiatives that enhance the way people work, lead, and grow. You will help shape a healthy, engaged, and future-ready workforce.

• Embed cultural values and behaviours across the Council.

• Deliver and assess wellbeing strategies that enhance morale and productivity.

• Support and develop Mental Health First Aiders and staff wellbeing champions.

• Plan and facilitate team-building, leadership, and engagement events.

• Manage the corporate induction programme and employee recognition schemes.

• Analyse staff survey data and feedback to drive performance and engagement.

• Represent the Council at careers events and support talent attraction efforts.

• CIPD membership (desirable) and experience in HR/OD roles.

• Proven success in leading culture change and wellbeing programmes.

• Strong knowledge of organisational theory, change management, and performance development.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage staff at all levels.
