Your Role:As an Organisational Development Officer, you will design, deliver, and evaluate innovative OD and wellbeing initiatives that enhance the way people work, lead, and grow. You will help shape a healthy, engaged, and future-ready workforce.
Key Responsibilities:Embed cultural values and behaviours across the Council.
Deliver and assess wellbeing strategies that enhance morale and productivity.
Support and develop Mental Health First Aiders and staff wellbeing champions.
Plan and facilitate team-building, leadership, and engagement events.
Manage the corporate induction programme and employee recognition schemes.
Analyse staff survey data and feedback to drive performance and engagement.
Represent the Council at careers events and support talent attraction efforts.
CIPD membership (desirable) and experience in HR/OD roles.
Proven success in leading culture change and wellbeing programmes.
Strong knowledge of organisational theory, change management, and performance development.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage staff at all levels.
