Organisational Change Advisor
- Contract Duration: 6 months (starting mid-to-late September)
- Location: Hybrid (London-based strongly preferred due to in-person requirements)
- Rate: £27.09 to £35.27 per hour (umbrella)

Join our team as an Organisational Change Advisor and play a pivotal role in guiding a public sector organisation through a significant period of change due to financial challenges. This role requires a hands-on approach in HR and change management, focusing on redundancy processes, consultations, and employee relations.
Day-to-Day of the Role:
- Act as the people change lead, collaborating closely with HR, managers, unions, and the Cabinet Office.
- Liaise with the Cabinet Office and Civil Service Pensions (Exit Scheme) to ensure alignment and compliance.
- Draft and manage consultation and change papers, assimilation, and job matching processes.
- Support and coach managers through difficult conversations, formal consultation meetings, and change implementation.
- Ensure legal compliance and best practice in all people-related change activities.
- Track and manage people impacts across the organisation with strong attention to detail.
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership and the board.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven track record in organisational change and redundancy processes.
- Strong knowledge of employee relations, including legal frameworks.
- Experience in supporting formal consultations and liaising with unions.
- Ability to diagnose change impacts and advise on appropriate actions.
- Comfortable working in small organisations (approx. 280 headcount) with hands-on involvement.
- Desirable: Familiarity with civil service processes and public sector change, experience with staff reps or non-unionised environments, and awareness of change methodologies like ADKAR or Prosci.

- Hybrid working: Minimum once a week in-office, may increase during consultation periods.
- Must be comfortable with face-to-face meetings, including board presentations.
- Location flexibility is allowed, but candidates must be able to travel to London easily and affordably.
