We’re looking for an ambitious and motivated Operations Team Leader to join our dynamic team in Salford at Ruby Energy. In this pivotal role, you’ll lead a high-performing administration team, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and exceptional customer experiences are at the heart of everything we do.

What You’ll Do

As our Operations Team Leader, you will:

• Lead, coach, and develop a skilled team of administrators to achieve high levels of accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor and manage risk through close oversight of industry data flows.
• Produce insightful performance reports for senior management.
• Oversee the onboarding, renewal, and closure of customer contracts – including new acquisitions.
• Identify process improvements with customer experience at the forefront.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, managing documentation, policies, and procedures.
• Recognise and mitigate conduct risks, including support for vulnerable customers.
• Drive SLA and KPI performance, escalating issues when necessary.
• Lead daily team meetings and monthly one-to-ones, fostering continuous development and cross-skilling.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors to deliver against key performance metrics.
• Support audits and business initiatives, ensuring smooth process change and strong communication.
