Our clienti s one of the UK's leading trader distributors of timbers, who currently have an opportunity based in Gateshead for an Operations Manager!

In this role, you'll lead an efficient warehouse and transport team, prioritising exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities include managing a large team, organising training, and ensuring strict adherence to health and safety protocols. Collaborating with our Health and Safety Manager, you'll contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Your duties will extend to arranging and evaluating maintenance for all equipment and site infrastructure, ensuring compliance with maintenance schedules, and addressing any operational issues promptly. We are keen to speak to highly motivated and organised individuals with prior experience in operations management or similar roles. Strong people management skills, IT proficiency, and a solid understanding of commercial driver regulations are essential.
