Job Description :

Do you enjoy keeping things running smoothly and making sure workplaces are set up for success? Our client is looking for a proactive Operations Assistant to support the day-to-day running of multiple office locations.

This is a hands-on, varied role where you’ll be involved in everything from coordinating office supplies and managing equipment to supporting office moves and ensuring spaces are safe, tidy, and well organised. You’ll spend time travelling between sites, making sure each location operates efficiently and consistently.

No two days will look the same, one day you might be overseeing a furniture delivery or organising storage, and the next you could be carrying out health & safety checks, supporting a minor building maintenance issue, or preparing a workspace for new starters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Operations Manager with the smooth running of multiple office locations.
  • Oversee deliveries, office supplies, and equipment logistics between sites.
  • Assist with office setups, moves, refurbishments, and general space planning.
  • Act as point of contact for minor maintenance issues and escalate to contractors when required.
  • Liaise with external suppliers, contractors, and service providers to ensure work is completed efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of assets, inventories, contracts, and maintenance schedules.
  • Carry out regular office visits to ensure operational standards, safety, and compliance are met.
  • Support health & safety processes, including checks, reporting, and ensuring safe working environments.

About You

You’re organised, reliable, and take pride in creating well-run, welcoming workplaces. You enjoy a mixture of admin, coordination, and hands-on tasks and you’re comfortable adapting to whatever the day requires. You’re practical, resourceful, and happy to travel between regional offices.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Experience in operations, administration, or facilities (professional services experience a bonus).
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills.
  • Confidence using Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
  • A practical mindset with the ability to problem-solve on the spot.
  • Excellent communication skills when dealing with colleagues, suppliers, and contractors.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites.

Company Benefits:

  • 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays
  • Competitive pension scheme
  • Private healthcare
  • Free parking
  • Bonus scheme

If you have not been contacted within 5 working days, then unfortunately on this occasion your CV has not been shortlisted.

Salary : 25000 - 30000
