CassonX are delighted to be the EXCLUSIVE recruitment partner for this fast growing nearly $1bn Credit Hedge Fund that invests in both public and private markets. As specialists in the Closed Ended market, across multiple vehicles they invest in everything from listed equities, loans, fixed income, distressed, TRS and even Private Equity and Real Estate strategies – most products in the Credit spectrum, and are starting to become even more technical and complicated with their investment strategies. To be considered for this role, CassonX are looking to identify someone who is smart, in the early stages of their career and looking for an opportunity to work in a small team where you will have a lot of variety in the day to day responsibilities. In an ideal situation you will offer a background in a hedge fund or alternatives firm, or at the very least experience in any buyside institution, with core understanding of basic operations – for instance various types of reconciliations, managing trade lifecycles, liaising with fund administrators, prime brokers and custodians make sure that everything is correctly reflected on a daily basis. Any wider appreciation for treasury / cash management / fx hedging is distinctly advantageous. What is important is that you are ambitious and want to learn. This is such a great opportunity for someone, and a strong hard working ethic if demonstrated in interview will go a long way to being successful with this opportunity.

This very broad role has foundations of assisting with daily reconciliations of cash, positions, and transactions, investigating and repairing all breaks, but will also see you support all trade documentation, bookings, settlements, and position monitoring for all transactions they cover.
