This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced, high-performing operation - ideal for someone who thrives on motivating people, improving services, and ensuring consistent, high-quality results.

The Role

You’ll take ownership of day-to-day operations, ensuring teams are well-supported, resources are used effectively, and standards remain high. Working closely with supervisors and team leaders, you’ll drive continuous improvement and deliver a well-structured programme of works that meets both service and performance goals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring performance, attendance, and wellbeing within teams, fostering a positive and accountable culture.
  • Reviewing systems and practices to identify efficiencies and service improvements.
  • Managing budgets, resources, and external contractors to deliver cost-effective outcomes.
  • Leading investigations and problem-solving around service issues, complaints, or incidents.
  • Promoting a strong health, safety, and quality focus across all operations.
About You

We’re looking for a strong people manager and natural leader - someone who can inspire, set clear expectations, and support teams to deliver their best work.

You’ll bring:

  • Proven experience managing operational teams in a fast-paced environment such as landscaping, facilities management, environmental services, or maintenance.
  • A track record of driving performance and service improvement.
  • Experience managing a programme of works and balancing priorities across multiple sites.
  • Sound understanding of budgets, resource planning, and compliance.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office and confidence producing reports and performance data.
The Opportunity

You’ll be joining a respected organisation that values teamwork, accountability, and service excellence. This is a great opportunity to make a visible impact - leading a motivated team, improving processes, and ensuring services are delivered to the highest standards every day.
