Job title: Operational Risk Manager VP

Location: London/Hybrid

Duration: 6 months initially

The role:

This role is crucial for supporting my client in managing Information Security/Cyber and IT risk by providing independent oversight of risk management activities conducted across the business, ensuring effective risk management and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing Information Security/Cyber and IT Risk management frameworks and their implementation.
• Supporting EMEA entities and branches in line with service level agreements.
• Acting as an escalation point to senior risk management.
• Ensure the regional organisation operates to all legal and regulatory requirements affecting Information Security/Cyber and IT activities.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and SMEs.
• Drive a second line approach to understanding the Information Security/Cyber and IT risk profile.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of non-financial risk management principles, primarily in technology.
• Strong understanding of EMEA wide regulation for Information Security/Cyber and IT in Financial Services.
• Ability to analyse vulnerabilities and oversee timely remediation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
