Operational Finance Analyst - Media - Media Geeks Recruitment : Job Details

We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Operational Finance Analyst to join our finance team for a 6 months contract (immediate start). This role is central to managing high-volume transactional processes, ensuring accuracy in client billing, and delivering insightful reconciliations and analysis to support decision-making.

• Process high volume supplier invoices each month, including payments for various Media Platform and vendors.
• Manage client invoicing, recharging supplier costs with the correct markup and ensuring timely collection.
• Support AR and AP leads by coding unclear banking transactions and assisting with daily cash flow management.
• Verify that payment run files accurately reflect supplier invoice recharges and collections.
• Maintain thorough documentation and audit trails for all media-related transactions.

Financial Reconciliation & Insight Analysis

• Communicate with suppliers and customers to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment queries.
• Collaborate with client teams to align spend and recharged amounts, seeking approvals where necessary.
• Perform reconciliations by client and platform to confirm that all pass-through media spend is properly accounted for.
• Prepare accurate month-end balance reconciliations to support revenue recognition.
• Analyse media spend trends and discrepancies to improve forecasting and cash flow visibility.

• Solid experience in finance operations, accounts payable/receivable, or client billing (media/agency experience is an advantage).
• Strong reconciliation and reporting skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Confidence managing large volumes of invoices and payments.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills with both suppliers and clients.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Strong Excel!

This is a key role in managing finances for high-profile clients and media partners. It will give you a great exposure to large-scale media transactions and international stakeholders.
